Finalist Metropolitan Club of the Year

Committee members and one of our young guns – Zac Matthews – attended the TNSW 2019 Awards Night where we were a finalist in the Metro Club of the Year category.  We were up against larger clubs and the majority of these are private operators and not volunteer run clubs/committees.

We were not a winner on the night, however just being recognised as a leading club facility against commercial operators speaks lots to the work of the committee who strive to ensure the club’s facilities and activities are open and available to all players in the community.

Finalist Female Junior Athlete of the Year

Our young gun, Bojana Marinkov was a finalist in the Female Junior Athlete category.  Bojana is a member of our leading ladies Premier League Team, and is now pursuing a career in tennis.  She is off to the US shortly on a tennis scholarship for a couple of years.  We wish her all the best.
